A project exists since 2004. It was started as Russian updating of game
GTA: Vice City. After release of GTA: San Andreas it has been decided
to transfer all our work to Gta SA. So that was begining of present
project GTA: Criminal Russia. Time and a scene of action is Russia,
Ukraine 1991-1993 years.
The basic changes: a new map (3 new cities, new textures for a
countryside), a new linestory (it is included more than 100 new
missions), completely Russian motor-vehicle choise (including aircraft,
transport, boat transport), new models of characters, completely
Russian soundtrack (corresponding time of action) and Russian sound of
characters.
Status of completion: Check forum for detail information. Date of
release: The alfa-version (partial replacement of a map and russian
vechicles) - autumn of 2006. The beta-version (full replacement of a
map and russian vechicles) - spring of 2007. Final release - the end of
2007.
Distribution: Purchase from a site of developers and sending by mail on
DVD-disks. Everyone who will get the first and second version, will be
able tp update it up to final version, by using free-of-charge
updatings on a site of developers. So, it will not be necessary to
spend superfluous money for purchase of the final version.

The creation of 3 new cities in 2 countries,Russia and Ukraine is
planned . The first city: Russian provincial town. Town located on two
islands. In this town you will found a road service station, railroad
station, river port and museum of retro automobiles (this all storyline
buildings). By storyline our hero should went throuth set of a
different missions on all kinds of motor transport, and also stoled of
several rare cars from an automuseum. After that he will get in the
second city (and in other country). Ukraine. After completion of
missions in Ukraine (many missions will have a political sense), our
hero will return to Russia. Already in the capital (the third city).
There hero will have some political missions too, including
participation in elections of Parlament. In the third city we will see
the subway, and through all 3 cities there will pass a long railroad
line. Fans of retro cars will see many qualitative models of 40-50
years, such as GAZ-?1, ZIM (GAZ-12), ZIS-101 and ZIS-110 and etc. You

the future map of mod overthere as well.
Script details.
Serg(protagonist) after returning from prison get a job as a taxi
driver (private carrying). He becomes the competitor of a taxi drivers
gang. Soon Serg has a fight with taxi drivers. After that, the leader
of taxi drivers (Ambal)????? decides to offer Serg a job and involved
him in to criminal. Missions for taxi drivers, besides civil work, will
be: whoremastering, stealing of motor vehicles, fights with competitors
(in particular, with a port gang), street races. Approximately at the
same time Serg meets the mechanic from car-care center Dimon(?????) and
starts to work on car-care center.
In particular, Serg race as a pilot of car-care center team on street
races. Because of "special abilities" of his car, he
win a lot of races it wins races. Thats made Ambal wallet slimer. When
Ambal realize, who actually is unknown racer, he remains Serg without a
car and without work. So Serg begin to work in a car-care center.
But he need a criminal army(roof) to cover him, because in city is a
network of the car-care centers which are being in one hands. And they
don`t welcome competitors. Competitors wish to return Serg`s car-care
center. It is necessary for Serg to defend center. The most
authoritative person in city, the chief of port Baron may become a
"Roof" . Serg leaves car-care center on Dimon care
and goes to work in port as the driver of a small truck. He is
transporting fine cargoes from port on warehouses, Serg slowly
penetrates into a rate of business. It sees, that the port gang has a
very large transactions - contraband of drugs, carparts and more. Serg
himself sometimes transports illegal cargoes under counterfeit
documents. Serg owned Baron`s trust, (in one of missions he save
Baron`s life, having covered Baron`s car from assasins by truck), and
that takes him in to position as the baron`s driver and the bodyguard.
While working for Baron, Serg killed ?mbal in one of missions, and
becomes the leader of taxi drivers. Since this moment he may call taxi(
by phone) as a taxi passenger. It`s free-of-charge, and available in
any part of city and on a countryside.
